The Experience

As a community garden, we gather together to experience nature, to bond over planting seeds, to nourish our bodies with freshly grown fruits and vegetables, and to engage as a community. These dinners are a wonderful opportunity to connect with other growers, community members, and people that are passionate about sustainability, nutrition, food security, and spending time outdoors.

The garden is a perfect place to picnic for a date night, a family outing or an evening with friends. Each dinner has a limited number of tickets available, and sell out quickly.

The Reward

Dinners in the Garden allow us to increase our bounty and provide nutritious food to our neighbors in need, as well as strengthen our education and sustainability outreach within schools and other community partnerships.

Each season, we grow, harvest, and donate over 1,500 pounds of organic produce to help provide food security to our community. We are the only local organization that grows fresh produce with the intention of donating it to those in need. We fight hunger in several different ways: our Food Farmacy and Fruit to Schools programs.

In partnership with The People’s Health Clinic (PHC) and the Christian Center of Park City (CCPC), we launched a Food Farmacy. Prescriptions for fresh produce are provided to PHC patients who are experiencing food insecurity and chronic diseases. We provide fresh, organic produce grown in our demonstration gardens to fill the prescriptions.
