CONNECT Summit County and Summit Community Gardens have teamed up to offer an outdoor family-friendly event to close the summer! Come enjoy a day at Summit Community Gardens with presentations and demonstrations to help boost your mental health.

Rain or shine we'll be there!

Signup for the presentation(s)* you'd like to attend or RSVP for the general event and take advantage of the Farm Stand, community booths, and being able to walk around the garden and ask questions. Our goal in hosting this event is to empower YOU, Summit County residents, to find activities and resources that will enhance your mental health and wellness.

Summit Community Gardens Farmstand will be open and selling fresh produce, they accept WIC and there will be community organizations present to share services they offer our community and upcoming events and ways to connect with the community in this time of COVID-19.

Here is the full schedule - join us for one, two, or all of the presentations, make to RSVP as space is limited to 30 or fewer people per session

9 am Kids Yoga with Randi Jo and Mindfulness Mediation with Whitney Reed (for adults)

10 am Gardens of Gratitude - for families and individuals, with Nikki Glandon, Planting Seeds Co. 

11 am Presenter, TBA 

12 pm Mindful Cusine with Linda Elbert, Cooking Demonstration

1 pm Mental Health and Nature, Season, Saddle of Love and Mindful Exploration with Alison, Trail Talk starting at Summit Community Gardens walking park city trails until 2 pm

2 pm Event ends - Thank you for coming!

*Attendees must RSVP for all presentations and all presentations are capped at 30 or fewer, plan to bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. Spaces will be set-up to ensure proper physical distance, we will plan according to policies set forth by the Summit County Health Department and do all in our power to bring people together responsibly and safely. Masks are required when physical distancing is not possible.
